Hello! Firstly, I want to thank Amanda for her letter and gifts. :o) That really cheered me up! Thank you sweetie!
I'm still here and have been on but not for long periods at a time. It's been 2 months since I've had any type of pain pills. So, I've been in lots of pain. The journay from my bed to this computer isn't that far at all, but when you stand and your spine feels like plaster crumbling, my feet bleeding from the stupid gross stuff that I still have on my hands and feet. And my muscle cramps and then last but not least, my bones aching. Yikes! I've actually been living in my bed. I watch tv. Thats all I have to do. Today when my aid was here, I told here that I'm really truly going stir crazy! Because I have absolutly nothing to do and nothing but to sit and lay in pain. I thought about going to the er just to get a shot. Everytime I go there they give me a shot for my pain right before I leave. Plus, they've up'ed my pain meds to percicet {SP}. And yes, that did actually work! Took long enough. lol
I can't type much more because of my hands. Just wanted to let you know I'm alright, just living in my bed. It really warmed my heart to get the emails asking about me and why I haven't posted in awhile. :o)
God bless all of you!
Lisa

It is always good to read a post from you, Lisa, and know that you are still with us, even if there are far too many things gone wrong you must contend with. I am writing a response so you will know I have been to your blog (journal) and read and appreciate the fact that you have made such an effort to connect to your friends and well wishers. I can't say how sorry I am that the quality of your life is not better, but I know that you love life and value life and are willing to put up with a lot of discomfort to have it. So once again I salute your courage and perseverance. And want to say the world is better off with you in it. Gerry

I'm sorry you are in pain.
I'm having a really bad flare up with my RA. Painful, knees, problems just geting off of the couch, climbing stairs. Also effects my arms and hands.
Really sucks.
Why have you been without pain meds for 2 months?
