Lisa, I sent you a postcard from Vegas to the address you posted in the hospital, guess you never got it :( Hugs Lisa
lots didn't know you were in the hosp, as they're not getting your alerts.
i found out & posted it on 'call 4 support' so people would know.
you were in a lot of prayers from that, i'm sure.
huggies...
Lisa I think alot of people are just not reading blogs as much anymore, unless its one of their very best friends, at least thats what I have found. Please dont take it personal, so many people have gone to facebook also. Do you have a facebook? If not, we need to get you one. I'm not a follower of your blog but I was a while back and so I get your updates now and then. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Also, we need to revamp this blog because it is difficult to read, and this could be keeping people away, seriously. I have to go to my daughters volleyball game and take my older daughter to get a picture taken and then when I get back I will come and look at your blog and see what I can come up with. I want to help you re-establish your readership because I know you need some buddies here.
talk to ya later
Lisa, so sorry to hear that you've been ill. Sometimes with our busy lives we get behind in reading blogs. I know I go for days & can't get to them and then only read what's current, not the ones I missed. I presently have 76 blogs on my "Blogs I follow list." And even though I'm retired, have a busy life and sometimes I'm away with no computer access. So please forgive us...I'll be remembering you in my prayers~asking God to restore you to good health soon, so you can enjoy the summer. Linda in Washington
I am sorry that you felt hurt about not receiving cards, but I think many of the bloggers came to blopspot and then just quit blogging, so they re not active, but you are a born blogger (writer) so you keep blogging no matter what is happening. So do I. I check on your blog now every day since you have been so ill. I noted that one of my comments did not register. But I would not feel bad about the falling away of J-land. It affected everyone, you more so than others because of once having a lot of action on your blog. I think that the ones that still have the most action are very active commenters themselves, so there is also a difference in being too ill to comment any more. Or at least not nearly as much. I sometimes feel deserted being old. I think being old and being ill causes people to distance themselves someetimes. But I recognize this is when you are really going to need support so as long as you are posting I will be coming to your blog. As I know how ill you have been. And I find you very interesting and alive in your perceptions no matter what goes on in your body. Gerry
Hi Lisa,
I am so sorry to read how sick you were this past weeks. The good news is that you are home again and some things are taken care of. I can understand part of your sadness about the lack of mail and get well wishes. What I am saying now is not an excuse, it is the truth. I had not been around reading or replying to blogs, because I was being sick as well.
I was thinking of you and many other bloggers and was hoping everyones life will turn out to be okay, with what ever problems they've had.
God is with you, no matter what...and if everyone seems to be gone, HE will be still with you.
I am glad you have your family around you to brighten up your days.
Sending my best get well wishes.
Maria
Lisa was hoping the card arrived to you so you'd know I was thinking of you dear. Glad it brought some cheer your way. Just take care, take it one day at a time.
I didn't know you were in the hospital. I have been sick myself with pnuemonia and haven't been reading or writing anything lately. Just doing alot of sleeping and doctor visits.
God Bless

HI Lisa,
Please don't think no one cares. We do. I think the others are right, when AOL got rid of Journals we all "scattered to the wind". I find the dashboard thing not ver effective and like you my readers have dwidled along e3ith my ambiton to journal.
I hope you are feeling a bit better by the time you recieve this. hugs, Bethe
Lisa I don't come to blog spot much...just every now and then when some one sends me an email update...then I go..but I am not blogging right now as well..I have a lot of pain now days and keep my blog in hope one day I gain the energy or the desire to blog...being in the groups I am in I can keep up with J-Land friends. Big hugs and prayers! TerryAnn
Sorry you were in the hospital. I hardly around blogger anymore. Unless I get emails I don't have a clue what is happening. I spend more time on Facebook. Now if you post something on there we all know about it in a second. There are a lot of people on there from Jland. Hope your doing good.
Lisa,
I am very sorry that you were so ill and in the hospital. I had bronchitis and pneumonia myself all of March and still have the bronchitis. So, I haven't been well myself. I never could forget you. I just haven't had time to read people's blogs because I was sick also and when I got well, I was busy. This doesn't mean that you were forgotten. I hope you feel better now! Try to let me know when you post as I don't get notices when you do. SHOULD I? Take care and know you're in many of our prayers and hearts! Merry
I'm glad you're feeling better. I didn't know you were so sick and in the hospital. Haven't been around much. Don't take it personally. Hope you continue to get stronger. Take care.
Lisa, that must have been very painful to find almost no emails for you when you got back. My computer, which seems to be okay now, back fired and seized up on me every time I tried to read a journal and leave a message.
I have a lot of physical problems but I try not to include them in my journal entries any more. Whenever I do I get almost no response. It seems some of us are not supposed to be sick. But you are cared about and I, for one, am glad that you are better. DB
