****************UPDATE***************

I have only a few pictures right now. We've all been too busy. My son came in and he took more, but I just didn't feel up to loading them yet. Jeremy took the pictures I have. They are all fine. Of course physically. They got out in time. My 3 year old grandson woke up his mommy and thats when Jeremy and Nena heard the police and fire department going down the street getting people out. Thankfully Jeremy worked with his dad at a fire deparment. So he was right on the job after he got Nena and the babies out. It was a very emotional night for all of us. Kayden seen the fire on the neighbors house. He's having some problams coping with this. God Bless him. The news came up and interviewd Jeremy. He actually stayed there all night to make sure things would be alright. Then this morning he came here and spent time with his family. Just a very emotional time. I called our news paper and told them about Kayden saving his familys life. God Bless him. I had a doctors appointment today and Jim went with me. She looked at my foot and told me that where I broke it, it will actually take up to nine months to heal! I also have to keep it wraped, elevated and to wear a tight firm shoe. I'm not to take the shoe off until I see her next month. She ordered a CT scan on my stomache. The top part is hard like when your pregnant....lol....Kayden comes up to me and puts his hands on it to see if he can feel the baby move! :o) Well...I'm going now. I'm coming down from all of this high and I feel like a jelly fish. :o) Lisa

People have been very lucky, Lisa. Of course it's a distressing experience, but goods can be replaced (some). People definitely can't. Thanks for updating.

Lisa after reading your journal, checked the newspaper in your area, so thankful your family is alright, bless Kayden for waking them up. Hope the other people injured will be alright. Wow you have some time to heal your foot, glad you got that checked out and also that Doc wants a CT scan of your stomach. Just hang in there dear. Take care.

Oh Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear about the fire - thank God everyone got out without injury. I experienced a house fire and it takes a long time to get over the trauma (if ever). I can't imagine how it would be if you were a toddler. Bless your family.

Oh that darling little Kayden. What an experience for him. No wonder he was upset. And that was so funny him trying to feel the baby move in you. Oh dear me. Well, he is going to be a very well educated little cuss about illness and the like. I am sure he worries about you sometimes. But I am so glad everything is okay with them, and I am very sorry that you have broken your foot. But falling is such a hazard. It would be hard to keep falling all the time without doing something to yourself. Well, life has been such a struggle for you that last while. But you still sound pretty cheerful and up in spite of it all, and I am glad your sister came with a Xmas wish. Some attention from a sister in a relationship that has been troubled is always a plus. I can relate to that. I don't know what is wrong with my sister just younger than I am but she has not called me in a year and a half and does not respond to calls on my part, that is she does not call back, so I dont know what is going on except extreme irritability. Good to hear from you, and my heart was so touched by this story about Kayden. I love that little guy. Gerry

Oh, dear Lisa. Thank the good Lord that Kayden woke up and alerted everyone, that all are safe, physically speaking, that Jeremy knew what to do...... What a horror. I'll pray all stay okay, that the nightmares dissipate.....

May your foot and stomach heal, too. One day at a time, wow. May this new year keep everyone safe and happy!

I am happy that you all are safe from the fire. My daughter got burnt out a few months ago and like your family God really took care of them. No injuries to them and even their furniture was salvageable. Others lost things but there was no loss of live. God is good!

I have been away Lisa and came back to see your journal alert. Opening it up I got a fright as I thought this was your house. I don't wish it on anyone but thanks be to God that it wasn't yours.
I hope you follow the doctors advice on keeping your feet up. Why must you be visited with so much? I will keep you in my prayers.
Hugs
